A Short Story of Signature Seating

Signature Seating has been producing soft goods for the Marine Industry for over 25 years.  They are building furniture for some of the top pontoon builders in the country.  What started as a quest to produce quality-fishing seats at a value price has evolved from a 2-man operation and 2400 square feet of facility to over 100 employees and a total of 260,000 square feet in two locations.

Quality starts at the design stage and is one of the major focuses through the process.  Also top priorities during the design process include esthetics, comfort, ease of use, and long life.  Signature utilizes state of the art design labs followed by state of the art production equipment such as CNC wood cutting and vinyl cutting machines and computerized conveyor systems controlling the movement of skins in process through out the manufacturing process.  This assures a consistent value added product on a daily basis.  The latest colors, patterns, textures and innovative ideas are integrated into each product giving you a new boat look when we are finished.

Many of the frames under the furniture are a rotomolded polyethylene.  In an attempt to regain back the quality control, which was becoming increasingly more difficult to retain from outside vendors, signature bought the first Rotomold Machine in 2000.   Another building was acquired in 2002 and a second machine was put into operation in 2003 to keep up with demand.

Of all the change and advancement in process and technology, which has transpired, one thing that hasn’t changed is our company commitment to quality, competitive prices, and 100% customer satisfaction.  All this is the reason the most respected boat builders look to Signature for their furniture solutions year after year.
